Reviews — Mountain & Sun Yoga Retreats

What Our Guests Say:

“I am a seasoned traveler who has gone to many countries and venues. I enjoyed this retreat very much and will definitely plan on going to other retreats with this group. It was well organized. The selection of activities was well thought out. The accommodations and services offered during the retreat were excellent. We had a group of 12 people. I initially knew three people, but became very good friends with everyone in our home.. The leaders, Christa and Amber were tuned into the different levels of yoga practice for each participant and adjusted accordingly. I look forward to their next event.”

“My time at the Sedona retreat was truly unforgettable ✨ Each day began with grounding morning yoga surrounded by breathtaking red rock views, and ended with soothing yin and sound baths under the stars — the perfect way to unwind and reflect. We explored the beauty of nature with incredible hikes through Sedona and even took a day trip to the Grand Canyon, which was absolutely awe-inspiring. The nourishing, healthy meals prepared for us each day made the experience feel both restorative and supportive from the inside out. This retreat offered the perfect blend of adventure, inner stillness, community, and self-care. I left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and deeply connected 🌿🙏”

“Thank you for planning a wonderful trip. The food was fabulous (thank you Catalina) and the yoga leaders were exceptional (thank you Amber and Christa). And the group was even better. Everyone was gracious and fun. Loved the early morning yoga with amazing views and wonderful hikes. Sunsets were awe inspiring and star gazing was the best. Adding some free time was perfect. I hope this retreat becomes an annual event. I would definitely recommend and return.”

"I’m not a huge yogi and was a bit nervous that this retreat would be too challenging for me. Christa provided an entry point for all levels and I can I honestly say that my practice improved in the few days we were together. Besides the yoga, Christa curated a wonderful Maine experience that also included hiking, a sound bath, blueberry picking, a visit to a nearby ice cream shop, and relaxing nights by an outdoor fire."

"Fun, fellowship, fantastic food, restorative yoga, hikes, swims, fire pits, hot tubs, ice cream stops, blueberry picking, beautiful scenery were all a part of this retreat. Christa took care of everything with her usual perfect planning and precision. I felt relaxed, nurtured, and well taken care of! Her retreats are always top notch, and I look forward to going on more. I highly recommend Mountain and Sun Retreats!"

"My husband Stan and I attended this retreat. We had a tremendous time and met some wonderful folks from all over the US. We highly recommend Mountain and Sun Yoga Retreats. We will be joining them again for sure! Our host Christa and chef Cassidy did a stupendous job and navigated excellent excursions for attendees daily. The accommodations chosen for the group were excellent as well. We were very pleased with the healthy food choices our hosts prepared. Our yoga and sound bath practices in nature were so grounding and restorative... we did not want retreat to end! We miss all the folks we met already and we hope that they will also return on a future retreat with us!"
