What Our Guests Say:

  • “I am a seasoned traveler who has gone to many countries and venues. I enjoyed this retreat very much and will definitely plan on going to other retreats with this group. It was well organized. The selection of activities was well thought out. The accommodations and services offered during the retreat were excellent. We had a group of 12 people. I initially knew three people, but became very good friends with everyone in our home.. The leaders, Christa and Amber were tuned into the different levels of yoga practice for each participant and adjusted accordingly. I look forward to their next event.”

    —Sherry

  • “The retreat was absolutely magical! It was my first yoga and hiking retreat, and set the bar high for my expectations going forward. Highly recommend!”

    —Sybil

  • “My time at the Sedona retreat was truly unforgettable ✨ Each day began with grounding morning yoga surrounded by breathtaking red rock views, and ended with soothing yin and sound baths under the stars — the perfect way to unwind and reflect. We explored the beauty of nature with incredible hikes through Sedona and even took a day trip to the Grand Canyon, which was absolutely awe-inspiring. The nourishing, healthy meals prepared for us each day made the experience feel both restorative and supportive from the inside out. This retreat offered the perfect blend of adventure, inner stillness, community, and self-care. I left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and deeply connected 🌿🙏”

    —Mary

  • “I had a FABULOUS time at the retreat,. Accommodations were great, house was very spacious and clean and our chef Catalina was awesome. Other guests were great fun and loved the hikes & yoga.”

    —Suzanne

  • “Thank you for planning a wonderful trip. The food was fabulous (thank you Catalina) and the yoga leaders were exceptional (thank you Amber and Christa). And the group was even better. Everyone was gracious and fun. Loved the early morning yoga with amazing views and wonderful hikes. Sunsets were awe inspiring and star gazing was the best. Adding some free time was perfect. I hope this retreat becomes an annual event. I would definitely recommend and return.”

Meet Your Host

Hi, I’m Christa — founder of Mountain & Sun Yoga Retreats.

I started Mountain & Sun from my love of travel, yoga, wellness, and the transformation both have brought into my life. Yoga is medicine — but so is community, adventure, culture, and slowing down in nature.

These retreats are about seeing the world alongside like-minded people while providing you a container for self-connection, growth, and reflection. A safe space to explore, play, and gently step outside your comfort zone. Each destination is chosen with intention — offering beautiful settings to practice, quiet moments to reflect, and shared experiences that turn strangers into friends.

No cliques. No pressure. Just real connection and space to slow down and breathe.

I can’t wait to explore with you.
